ReVoltly AI is operated by Infinite Expertise (ABN registered in Australia). We provide an AI-powered solar energy savings calculator for homeowners and businesses in Australia and Pakistan.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use ReVoltly AI:

  • Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo (if signing in via Google).
  • Calculator inputs: Your monthly electricity bill amount, location (state or city), and optional household details you provide.
  • Usage data: Number of calculations run and AI questions asked, used to enforce free tier limits.
  • Payment information: If you subscribe to ReVoltly Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited for analytics and security purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the ReVoltly AI calculator and AI advisor service
  • To manage your account and subscription
  • To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, subscription receipts)
  • To enforce free tier usage limits
  • To analyse usage patterns and improve our service
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. AI and Data Processing

ReVoltly AI uses Google Gemini AI to power the conversational advisor feature. When you ask questions in the chat interface, your questions and your calculation results are sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. We do not send personally identifiable information to the AI unless you include it in your questions.

Google's data processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and AI principles. We use Gemini Flash models which do not use your data to train Google's models by default.

5. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Authentication session cookies required for you to stay signed in. These cannot be disabled.
  • Preference cookies: We store your market preference (Australia or Pakistan) in localStorage.
  • Analytics cookies: We may use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with our service.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Neon (database): Your account and usage data is stored in Neon's PostgreSQL database hosted in AWS Sydney (Australia).
  • Stripe: Payment processing for Pro subscriptions.
  • Google Gemini: AI chat processing as described above.
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery.
  • Vercel: Website hosting and infrastructure.

7. Australian Privacy Act Compliance

We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and data (available in Account settings)
  • Complain about a breach of your privacy rights

8. Pakistan PDPA Compliance

For users in Pakistan, we process your data in accordance with Pakistan's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Your data is stored in servers located in Australia (AWS Sydney). By using ReVoltly AI from Pakistan, you consent to this cross-border data transfer.

9. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Usage tracking data (calculation counts) may be retained for up to 90 days for fraud prevention purposes.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of ReVoltly AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
